At Maktabah Ibn Abī Zamanīn, we endeavor to bring the tradition back to traditional through dedicated dissemination of balanced, authentic Islāmic material based upon the Book of Allāh, the Sunnah of His Messenger Muḥammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and the understanding of the Righteous Predecessors, as explained in the statement of Allāh
“And the first to embrace Islām of the Muhājirūn (those who migrated from Makkah to al-Madīnah) and the Anṣār (the citizens of al-Madīnah who helped and gave aid to the Muhājirūn) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allāh is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success.” [al-Tawbah 9:100]
In addition to adhering to the numerous narrations from the Prophet ﴾ صلى الله عليه وسلم ﴿ encouraging the Muslims to follow what he and his Companions were upon.
In light of that, Maktabah Ibn Abī Zamanīn seeks to scholastically confront the false narrative that the Mālikī Madhhab and the eminent early Scholars of the Maghrib al-ʿArabī region inherently adhered to the Ashʿarī Creed coupled with devoutness to one of a multitude of misguided Sufī Paths as well as disproving the false premise that the call to Tawḥīd and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf was solely imported to these lands from the writings of Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah and Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn ʿAbd Al-Wahhāb.
We seek to provide substantiated, authentic information to Muslims related to foundational aspects (ʿAqīdah) of their religion as well as Fiqh and other issues, as opposed to inundating them with politics, current affairs, and other pseudo-intellectual topics of which the resultant effect is a plethora of Ruwaybiḍah who do not know the basic aspects of their religion and whom the Prophet ﴿صلى الله عليه وسلم﴾ warned against and described as being, “Insignificant individuals who speak about affairs concerning the general population of Muslims (i.e. affairs far more advanced and complex than their aptitude).”
